The Groundwater Wetlands and Bogs Study Group, formed in late 2012, currently hosts about 250 members in 39 countries. We are not a social network nor are we an environmental group. We are an unfunded, voluntary, collaboration of professionals whose listserve functions as a very disciplined platform for the exchange of scientific and technical information on groundwater wetlands, bogs, and related systems. In April 2014, the Study Group hosted a very well-attended session at the massive Joint Aquatic Sciences Meeting in Portland, Oregon, USA. We are currently developing a special section of papers to be published in the June issue of the journal Freshwater Science. There is no fee for participation and membership is by invitation. For additional information contact Tom Baugh at springmountain1@att.net.
