This will be a short trip just to get a taste of the laid
back nature of a river float. Take out will be at the River
Pub, but everyone has to float the Chute. Bring a towel and
a change of clothes if you want. We will shuttle everyone
one back to their vehicle. A small fee may be needed for the
tube.
5:30 – 9:00. Social and Dinner on the Deck
of the River Pub. You will be able to watch the tubers
float by. Food is included in the registration fee, but you
will be responsible for your own adult beverages.
Saturday, October 8
Student Paper Competition – The winning
paper will receive a roundtrip plane ticket to attend and
present at the upcoming International meeting of the Society
of Wetland Scientists in Cairns, Australia.
