In order to keep our Chapter members updated on all the "goings-on" in the Chapter, we try to keep this website as up-to-date and informative as possible. This page has been created in turn to help Chapter members keep up with this website. Also, if you have any suggestions for this website, don't hesitate to contact the SAC Webmaster. And if you have any suggestions for the Chapter, you may contact the current Chapter Chair.

Announced the 2009 Annual Wetland Photo Calendar Contest. Added meeting minutes from the May 2008 SAC meeting in Washington DC and the April meeting in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Posted link to the Stream Restoration Conference in November on Happenings Page. Posted photo of the ASB student travel award winners and the names of the SWS Annual Meeting Awardees as well as the 2008 Research Grant recipients. Posted the upcoming Combined South Central Chapter and South Atlantic Chapter Fall Meeting in Tuscaloosa, AL. The Minority Student Undergraduate Travel Award will now be presented annually.

Extended the deadline for entering the Photo Calendar Contest to the end of September as well as extended invitation for non-SWS members to enter photos!! Created a Student Award page and posted Research Grant Recipients. Posted the 2007 ABS Travel Award Winners. Added committee chairs to the current officers page. Updated links to Chapter Photo Albums, which have moved to Flickr.com.

Due to SWS web relocation, the South Atlantic Chapter website reverted to the January 27, 2006 version. We apologize for this and the up-to-date Chapter website is back online. Also, the Wetland Happenings page has been updated.
