Hello fellow SWS members,

I am a wetland scientist living in Seattle, but I am moving to New England in late February. I have been scouring the web for positions available in MA, ME, NH, and VT. I was wondering if any of you had access to email lists or similar to help with the job search.

My background is in wetland and stream enhancement and restoration, remote sensing and GIS, and wetland plants - propagation and ID. I am working now at King Conservation District as a biologist. I have a master's as well.

Any local tips or help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to changing my SWS membership from the Pacific Northwest to the New England Chapter!

a couple of websites to look for full time or part time positions are
http://www.maccweb.org massachusetts conservation commissioners. Town commissions administer the Massachuesetts wetland protection regulations.

http://www.amws.org Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists
post positions in Massachusetts and their website has links to other wetland organizations in New England.

Eco-Solutions may be hiring in Spring either part-time. We are always looking for qualified wetland scientists with delineation skills as associates.
