All environmental scientists in the Northeastern US and Canada are invited to attend the 9th Annual Meeting of the North Atlantic Chapter of SETAC. Our Chapter is soliciting platform and poster papers dealing with all aspects of environmental toxicology, environmental chemistry, and ecological risk assessment. Abstracts due 10 March 2003.

GIS for Environmental Professionals Short Course on Wednesday, April 23rd. This course introduces ArcGIS and provides the foundation for becoming a successful ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo user. Participants learn how to use ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolbox™ and explore how these applications work together to provide a complete GIS software solution. ESRI approved 8 hour class with 2 textbooks, trial software, and college CEU credits provided.

Special Sessions are planned on Thursday & Friday, April 24 & 25th, on the following topics:

Luncheon is provided with short course and general sessions on April 23 & 24th Poster session social will follow sessions on Thursday, April 24th late afternoon/evening. Friday is a half day.
