The Mid-Atlantic Chapter held a fall gathering in conjunction with the Wetlands Regulatory Workshop in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 2. Approximately 110 members attended the social event held to kick-off the revival of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Chapter members were informed of recent events, including the development of a member survey, the updating of the Chapter's web page, and upcoming Chapter events. Thanks to Ralph Spagnolo and Frank Reilly for all their help in setting this successful meeting up. For those of you who missed the meeting, you missed a great time and a chance to get to know some fellow wetland scientists and talk shop.

The Chapter member survey was developed the help us gain a better understanding of our members and to better serve your interests. The member survey has been distributed via e-mail to all Chapter members for whom we have current e-mail addresses. We will be mailing the surveys out to all members in the month of November.
