Society of Wetland Scientists Mid Atlantic Chapter

The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists periodically has meetings.  We post the notifications for these meetings here.  We serve the geographical area that contains Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The South Atlantic and Mid-Atlantic Chapters of the Society of Wetland Scientists are accepting abstracts for a Joint Regional Meeting March 7-8, 2011 at the USGS Headquarters in Reston, Virginia. The conference theme is Wetlands, Water Resources, and People and we are putting together a program that will include and integrate people from diverse specialties in wetlands and aquatic resources. The two-day program will include contributed oral sessions and a poster session. Abstracts will be published in a meeting program booklet and are due by January 10, 2011. Presenters will be notified via e-mail by January 24, 2011.

CONTRIBUTED SESSIONS
Oral presentations for all contributed sessions will be 20 minutes, including time for questions.

POSTER SESSION
Posters will be displayed Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning with a poster session on Monday evening (authors must be present).
