IMPORTANTI Attach a 50-word description of your company and the product(s) you will be displaying. This will be listed in the Final Program if received by March 15, 1998.
NOTE: Every effort will be made to accommodate location preferences. Space will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis, and FULL Payment must accompany this registration form. Make checks payable to SWS '98 in U.S. Dollars. Exhibit hours and installation hours are subject to change. Space unclaimed by the opening hours is subject to reassignment without refund. All exhibits must conform to local fire regulations. No combustible material can be used as exhibit decoration. Packing materials must be flameproof and must be stored under tables or behind displays. SWS will provide security services throughout the conference facility, however, the Society is not responsible for damages or loss to exhibits through fire, accident, or any destruction cause, whether the result of negligence or otherwise. Exhibitors should insure their own display and materials. Please note any special requirements such as electrical power (amperage), telephone connections, etc. required for your display.

Rules and Regulations Governing Use of Space by Exhibitors
1. These rules and regulations form part of the Exhibitor Registration Agreement made between the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) and exhibitors for the SWS annual meeting, June 7-12, 1998.
2. Booths installed at Egan Convention Center will feature electrical power, telephone, and internet opportunities. Please contact Brian Becker, Logistics, INC in Anchorage at (907) 276~060 for special needs.
3. The Exhibitor will comply with and ensure that its employees and agents comply with all legal requirements imposed by a government body.
4. Any Exhibitor wishing to hold drawings for trips, merchandise, etc. must advise SWS in writing 30 days before the meeting.
5. SWS and the Egan Convention Center shall not in any manner or for any cause be liable or responsible to any Exhibitor or any other person for any injury or damage to any person, business or property in any way related to or arising in connection with the exhibition: any and all claims, liabilities, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, imposed or incurred by or asserted against the Indemnified Parties caused by any act or omission of that exhibitor, or Occurring within the exhibit space leased by that exhibitor or arising in connection with the activities conducted by that exhibitor in connection with the SWS annual meeting.
6. The exhibitors cannot place in the exhibit area any apparatus or goods that in any manner are objectionable to other exhibitors or to the meeting attendees or will be dangerous or calculated to cause injury to any persons coming in contact with them or result in fire or damage to the building or its contents.
7. SWS reserves the right to prohibit the display of any article that, in SWS' opinion, is not in keeping with the nature or character of the SWS annual meeting, or not in harmony with the other exhibits and the decoration of the building.
8. In the event that the premises in which the exhibition is to be held are destroyed or damaged by fire or the elements or any other cause, so the exhibition cannot be held, the exhibitors have no cause or action for claim for damages or compensation against SWS or sponsoring Associations except for the return of any amount of money previously paid, and in such an event, this agreement will be terminated.
9. The exhibitors will have the rights, subject to the provisions herein, to arrange their exhibits within the space allotted to them in the manner best suited for displaying and demonstrating the goods manufactured or represented by them. No part of an exhibit or its materials can extend outside of the exhibit space boundary allotted.
10. The exhibitor will care for their own exhibits and take such steps and precautions as may be necessary to prevent injury or damage to themselves or their exhibits.
11. The exhibitor will, at her or his own expense, provide insurance for protection against fire, theft, vandalism or destruction by any cause. She or he will also provide workmen's compensation and general liability insurance in an amount not less than one million dollars per occurrence.
12. Exhibitors will remove all exhibits and any goods or property brought into the exhibit hall and leave the space both clean and free from all rubbish no later than 3pm, Friday, June 12, 1998.
13. The exhibitors cannot assign or sublet any of their exhibition space without prior written consent of SWS.
14. The exhibitors must install their exhibits in such a manner as not to cause damage to any other exhibits or booths or to the building. Any such damage caused by an exhibitor will be paid by the exhibitor causing the damage.
15. Neither this Exhibitor Registration Agreement nor any booth or display space request or allocation will be binding on the SWS unless and until the exhibitor completes, signs and returns the Exhibitor Registration Agreement, and issues payment in accordance with this agreement, and this agreement is executed by the Exhibits Coordinator on Behalf of SWS.
16. All personnel who are representatives of the exhibiting company must register as an "Exhibitor."
