5th Annual SWS
Wetland Photo Calendar Contest during the months of
June to September 2010! Yes, its been five years since the South Atlantic
Chapter started this photo contest and its been a huge success - others are now
doing it. Yeah!
How Can I Enter?
Digital photo entries or questions should be sent to
swssouthatlanticchapter@yahoo.com. SWS and potential SWS members may submit up to
three (3) photo entries each.
Yes, you may submit previous non-winning entries. You must be the original photographer of
the photograph(s) you are entering. Twelve (12) winners will be selected
by our Chapter judges and displayed, giving credit to the photographer, in a
beautiful, full-color, high quality calendar similar to the one pictured on the
right. Photo requirements are as follows:
- Content - Wetland related theme,
preferably in the Southeastern Region of the US.
- Type - Digital photos in jpeg format
(minor digital enhancements allowed). Black and white (or sepia) and
color photographs acceptable.
- Size - At least 11x8.5" (approx. 1100X860
pixels) and landscape orientation only.
- Resolution - At least 150 dpi.
- Please, no text added to image as we will
add the text in a standard format after the winners are chosen.

Please include the following
information with your submittal:
Photographer's
name, address, phone number, and e-mail address, an appropriate title for each
photograph, and location where each photo was taken.
As a tip, it is best to name the jpeg the title you want for
your photograph, such as 'reflections in a marsh.jpg'
or 'toad heaven.jpg,'
etc, to avoid any confusion.

How How do I Purchase A Calendar?
The
2011 calendars will be available on
Cafepress.com in time for Holiday ordering.
2010 calendars are still available.
