Special Facilities:
The University of Notre Dame Environmental Research Center (UNDERC) in northern Michigan covers thousands of acres, including many pristine wetlands, lakes, and streams. Modern housing and laboratory facilities are available. The ecology group is housed in the newly completed Hank Environmental Wing, including state-of-the-art greenhouse and controlled environmental facilities. The Center for Enviornmental Science and Technology offers a large variety of environmental equipment to university faculty and students.
