The deadline to submit abstracts has passed.

All abstracts will be peer reviewed by the program committee technical chairs to assess their applicability to the meeting theme and relevance to the special session chosen. All accepted abstracts will be published on a CD to be distributed at the meeting.

Be sure to follow these easy steps to submit your abstract.

  1. Fill in all required information fields. Abstracts cannot be processed without a working email address or daytime phone number.
  2. If you are presenting an oral paper in a contributed session, please choose your first and second choices for sessions.
  3. Keywords will be used to develop an index in the Program Guide. Please enter at least one but no more than three key words in the keyword field.
  4. Abstracts must be informative and concise (250 word maximum) describing the problem, results, and conclusions or implications sufficiently.
  5. Students, please be sure to indicate you are a student.
  6. The deadline for submitting abstracts is February 15, 2007.
  7. Following submission of the abstract, presenters will be notified by email verifying receipt of the abstract. If you do not receive a confirmation that your abstract has been submitted, your abstract was not received.
  8. Presenters will be notified by March 30, 2007 as to whether or not their abstract has been accepted. All presenters are encouraged to register for the SWS meeting by April 15, 2007, the early registration deadline, in order for their abstract to appear in the Program Guide.

Presenters who are unable to register by April 15, 2007, should contact the program co-chairs to verify their intent to present at the conference, and to ensure their abstract will appear in the Program Guide.
