The South Central Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists extends a hearty thank you to everyone who helped make the conference a success. We had over 700 attendees making this one of the biggest SWS meetings ever. Check out some pictures of what went on at the meeting. We made several travel awards both for students and international scientists. The children's program Wetlanders was well attended this year and continues to be exciting for the children. The Silent Auction was a big success and we had a very full exhibitors area. The Zoo Social was a big hit, especially the White Alligator. Our field trips were well attended and enjoyed by all. The plenary session provided a somber, but encouraging note about coastal restoration. We had over 500 speakers and poster presentations for the main program. And of course, we could not have done it without our sponsors and our volunteers. Thank you all very much.
