Meet Our Instructors

Bronwyn Mitchell is a native of New Orleans who has lived and worked in wetlands all over the world. Recently, Bronwyn took over as the Education Director for Environmental Concern, the organization that was instrumental in organizing and executing the first children's program in Lake Placid. It is from this position that she comes and brings over nine years experience in wetlands and education to the SWS 24th Annual Conference. We are excited to have Bronwyn join us this year as the coordinator and one of the leaders of the Children's Program!

Claire Swiderski travels nationwide teaching educators how to bring wetlands into the classroom using, WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands Coordinator for Environmental Concern. As co-teacher, she will be calling on her experience as nature camp director, volunteer coordinator, service-learning project developer, environmental educator and wetland enthusiast to make this Wetlander program a week to remember.
