Technical Program - Presenter Information:

Thank you to those of you who are presenting at the Lake Placid Conference in June.

Below are the latest guidelines for the oral and poster presentations:

Oral Presentations:

For the oral presentations, each room will have a podium with microphone, a laser pointer, an overhead projector, a 35 mm slide projector, and an LCD projector with dedicated computer (PC, PowerPoint 2000), and a projectionist.

Very important: PowerPoint presenters should bring their presentation to the meeting on either a floppy disk, zip disk (100 MB) or CD (Formatted for a PC, not a Macintosh!). Presenters are encouraged to hand in their presentation on floppy disk, zip disk (100 MB) or CD when they register so that conference staff presentations can load the presentations onto the dedicated computers. Alternatively, PowerPoint presenters should come to their session no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the session so that the projectionist can load their presentation onto the computer. Those using computer projection will not be permitted to use their personal laptops to give their talk (to minimize the likelihood of technological glitches that often result from switching computers). Only PowerPoint projections will be permitted (not Corel Presentations, for example).

Poster Presentations:

Poster presenters should plan their poster to occupy a space of 4' x 4' (1.2 m x 1.2 m). Posters will be displayed throughout the meeting. The formal poster session is from 5-7PM on Monday evening.
