Children's Program

Again, the Children's Program run by Environmental Concern was a winner!  Thanks to those the volunteered their time to help with the children and especially to Angela Conner for her valuable assistance through the week.

Instructors

Suzanne Greene* returned this year to coordinate the SWS Children’s Program and lead the Plover group throughout the week. A native of New Hampshire, Suzanne is currently a wetland educator with Environmental Concern. She has a degree in Environmental Science and Wetland Ecology from the University of New Hampshire and has been working on environmental restoration and education projects ever since.

Karleen Vollherbst*, also a wetland educator with Environmental Concern, made her first trip to the SWS conference this year. Karleen is from New Jersey and has taught outdoor education in five states since graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Environmental Policy.

*Both Instructors are certified in First Aid & CPR
