Hi everybody,

Can anyone help figure out the number of jobs that are directly or indirectly related to wetland work and regulation, and that would be lost if the current administration manages to *curb*, *scale back*, or by any other euphemism cripple federal wetland regulation? I know many agency people would lose their jobs, consultants like me would lose our jobs, etc., but is there an estimate of how many existing, REAL jobs across the nation would be lost if developers and their cronies get their way and kill off these "onerous" regulations that are somehow costing jobs and keeping the economy stagnant through indefinable means?

I'm not an investigative reporter or any other kind of journalist. This is something I've been thinking about for the last few months but I have no idea where or how to get the information I need. I want actual facts to counter *alternative* ones. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

*edited thrice to figure out the issue with quotation marks and italics.
