10-14 December 2018

Dear Colleague,

We hope your year is well and truly off to a good start and look forward to welcoming you in Albury, NSW Australia in December to celebrate Fish Passage 2018 and the First Symposium on Hydropower and Fish Management. We would like to highlight a few updates and notifications to the conference to help you with your planning.

Hydropower and Fish Management Symposium – New deadline for manuscripts submission
We are pleased to inform that Marine & Freshwater Research (MFR) will publish a Special Issue to accommodate manuscripts submitted to the 1st International Symposium on Hydropower and Fish Management. The deadline for manuscript submissions has been extended to the 23rd March 2018.
The symposium organizers are looking forward to receiving a multitude of multidisciplinary manuscripts focused on tools and solutions for the hydropower development and fish management nexus. Authors should follow the instructions to submit and adhere to MFR guidelines. Additional information on the Symposium and special edition can be found at: http://fishpassage.umass.edu/first-symposium-hydropower-and-fish-management
