Welcome to the 2010 Annual Meeting Website
CHILDREN PROGRAMS
The 2010 SWS Conference Children's Program is happy to provide visiting families with opportunities to explore and learn about the natural world while visiting the Salt Lake City area.
We have created a map of local educational venues to visit, viewable here, and will provide free family passes or 2-for-1 coupons that have been generously donated by the Utah Museum of Natural History, Tracy Aviary, Utah's Hogle Zoo, Discovery Gateway, Ogden Nature Center, and more! Some of the locations are within walking distance of the Salt Palace, but we also have a bus and light rail system to help you get around: buyapass.rideuta.com
We will also have free, interactive Family Programs during the last concurrent session (3:30-4:30):
Monday- Animal Adaptations from Utah's Hogle Zoo
Tuesday- Wonderful World of Wetlands from The Living Planet Aquarium
Thursday- Lost Ladybug Project from Cornell University www.lostladybug.org
There will not be child care on-site, but there are a number of certified childcare facilities(PDF) in the Salt Lake City area.
