Student Volunteers

As of April 15, we have reached our capacity for volunteers. Further sign ups will be put on a waiting list, but volunteer opportunities and reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.

The meeting Planning Team encourages graduate and undergraduate students with an interest in wetlands to participate in this joint conference. As such, we will offer significant registration discounts to students who are willing to volunteer for part of the conference. Volunteers will assist with AV equipment in session halls, registration, and other conference logistics.

Students who volunteer for 8 hrs (to be assigned in half-day increments) during the week of the conference will receive complimentary registration for the full conference ($125 value; does not include registration for additional events including the banquet, field trips and workshops). If you are not a student, but are interested in volunteering in order to reduce the costs of participating in the conference, please contact the Wisconsin Wetlands Association office at 608-250-9971 to indicate your interest. We may be able to accommodate a limited number of non-student volunteers.
